Entitled  ‘The internet beyond your website’ this was a non-technical user friendly workshop for owners and managers of small businesses who want to make use of the internet to market their company. A good mix of around 150 people with varied knowledge and experience in marketing their companies and a great opportunity to network and spread your business cards around at lunch and afterwards!

Topics covered:

• The importance of brand and image
• Building a CRM database of  potential customers
• Email and newsletter marketing
• Text and SMS advertising
• Online advertising  - pay per click, sponsored links, banner adverts, Internet news releases and online PR
• Social media marketing - blogs, forums, social networking and online reputation management.
